		<description>I&#039;m having a hard time understanding a few things about the recent NW188 flight that traveled for over an hour over Wisconson and Minnesota. 

Seriouly, have we not learned anything from 9/11. 

How can an airplane fly for over an hour past its intended landing destination, and there was no intercept by fighters. I do understand that two Air National Guard units were placed on alert, but no planes took off.  

I think someone looking into this near disaster should examine the pilots work schedules as well as how our National Security system needs to respond to such a potential threat in the future. Something is seriously wrong.</description>
