Public Testimony to the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Aviation
Regarding Aviation Security Legislation
- Include your name, signature on the mailed copy, address, phone and Email address.
- Share your own specific recommendations about improved airport security.
- You could include remarks that legislation should be passed to
eliminate the required “cost benefit analysis,” which is mandated for almost all safety and security recommendations to the FAA, and that the laws requiring FAA multi-year comment periods need to be streamlined that so that safety and security recommendations can be judged on their merits.
- Suggest ways to change the process to give the family members, and NADA/F representatives of the traveling public, a place at the table for decision recommendations and
decision-making.
- Please send a copy of your Letter of Testimony to your own Congressperson and U.S. Senator. Find them via
www.house.gov and
www.senate.gov
Your Testimony could be slightly changed and sent as a Letter to the Editor of your local newspapers! Go to NEWS and you can click on the 200 Largest Newspapers in the U.S. for more newspapers that would like to receive your letter.

Feel free to send a copy to NADA/F. Best wishes to all during this very difficult time.
